ONE Industries

The ONE Industries site was designed to be the most fully integrated ecommerce store around. The site offered many industry first, many of which have been copied by there competition including the Raceware section that allows consumers the ability to see matching gear together and select pieces individually. The site also included social media integration that included piping in riders twitter feeds and up-selling gear that there sponsored riders might use.

Store Pages
The Store was conceptualized to show off all the minute details that make ONE industries products so much different from the competition. Throughout the entire design process the main thought idea was to showcase the products as though you were in a brick in morter store. Defining each department page was accomplished through the use of color; black pages would be all racewear, white pages would be all motorcycle based products such as stickers, cosmetic kits, and seat covers, clothes and street apparel was defined with a warm grey, and fInally, the sale section was set in a cool grey.

Something that is often missing from ecommerce store is the ability to see details easily. In a brick and mortar environment you can pick up an item look at it handle it, but online you left to the resolutions of the photos. For one the solution was to utilize flash (Developed pre-iPad and HTML5) to load large PNG images.

Riders Section
One Industries like so many actionsport & sports apparel companies sponsored many of there sports best athletes. In Ones case it was there riders. The problem ONE had was that they were doing what everyone at the time was doing. Showing theRIder and some stats. Here we integrated Flickr Photos, the riders Twitter, wrote Bio, and pushed in the relevant blog post. We also up sold the product the riders were using.
